If using a 1.5" in the glutes, should I bury it or leave a little pin showing? A very informative injection info site says never bury the pin, in case it breaks and you need to retrieve it. Has anyone ever had a pin break?
i dunno i push it all the way in..i mean i don't bury the damned thing.
its almost imposible to break a pin. you can bend them 90o. i use a 1" so i do bury it, the end of the needle puts a dimple in my ass. i dont do that on other areas though.

yep... that needle isnt going to snap off bro.. try and break one and see for yourself.
BUT that being said, I leave aboue 1/8" out. No point jamming it ALL the way in. 1 and 3/8 of an inch is plenty deep enough.
You'd have to try pretty damn hard to break a needle off in your butt bro.

I use 1 1/2 pins. I only put it half way through. It works fine for me.
