Do you filter all of oil - mtex - 10-16-2017 i was wondering how many of you mix your powder, ba, & all of the oil needed & then filter? as opposed to using only 30% of oil needed , filter that solution & then add remaining oil(not filtered). if you have sterile oil, why filter. i will add i do purge filter w/5-10 cc's of oil wtf, everybody ignoring me or what? RE: Do you filter all of oil - Goanna - 10-16-2017 Your method should work fine as long as you can get all of your steoid completly dissolved in the 30ml of oil, and if you are using sterile oil from a sealed vial. If you are using oil that has come in contact with the air at all, I would filter it. RE: Do you filter all of oil - Amatuer - 10-16-2017 Thanks for asking that mtex, I was thinking the exact same thing. I suppose you could simply keep adding oil until the steroid dissolves properly, this would save on filters, time, and thumbs RE: Do you filter all of oil - mtex - 10-16-2017 Goanna Wrote:Your method should work fine as long as you can get all of your steoid completly dissolved in the 30ml of oil, and if you are using sterile oil from a sealed vial. I dont know how they trust the stuff if they dont take the proper precautions, but they do. Myself, I will always do all I can to assure a clean product. RE: Do you filter all of oil - Amatuer - 10-16-2017 Yes, I think if I'm going to be injecting that shit into my body, then I'd want to make it as safe as possible, the "Oh it could never happen to me" mentality is what makes people make stupid mistakes, unnecessary mistakes at that too. RE: Do you filter all of oil - mtex - 10-16-2017 usp sterile oil is filtered. why do it twice . & i dont know too many people that do bake their gear ( that have been doing it for a long time). 3-5% ba will kill all bacteria RE: Do you filter all of oil - BigMan66 - 10-16-2017 Paranoia is a good thing... Especially when it is my arse the needle is getting stuck into!!! I use sterile oil with BA, BB and Powder, filter the whole damn lot and then bake it at the end.... Yes, I could probably do it a bit quicker (or save a filter) by doing it otherwise, but I will play it safe than you very much. RE: Do you filter all of oil - Amatuer - 10-16-2017 yes, your right, BA will kill the bacteria, but filtering will remove all the grit and shit that's in the oil, whether you can see it or not, a speck of dust could float in unnoticed while your making it, many things could happen, I don't mind spending $6 on filters if it will keep me safe. |
