Self-HRT @21
#1
Situation:
- Have always had low levels of test (all usual suspects present throughout childhood/teens etc)
- few cycles under belt, one beautiful one of Test enth/cyp n some other goodies
- current mini mini cycle of proviron/winny/var/mast/clen
- Stats: 21/5'10/200/abs/Virgo

I currently have a job where I work very long hours, have to be very assertive and sociable and sometimes entertain clients "quite" late after hours. I have a membership to two gyms to allow myself to train around my work schedule (one is 24 hours) - sometimes I end up having to fit workout in at 3 or 4 a.m. then making work for 7:30.

I love to workout (since age 11) and run/swim a lot and have easy access to whatever gearwise. Moneywise, I get paid well and don't have much else to spend my moula on. Now I realize this question pops up quite often :violin: but...

Q:/ Would it be irresponsible/seriously unhealthy if I went on a low dose of test for the next year or two (Don't want to gain more mass, prefer more athletic look) - with the sole reason to be able to keep training hard whilst developing my career to the fullest and living to the fullest? Additionally this would also fulfill the motivation/anti-cortisol/ambition factor.

Basically any feedback on a 21 year old with low T-levels going on year-round low-dose test?

this is a good question i would love to hear some feedback from some of the vets. the only problem i see with this is after the two years of doing this you will go into a severe hormonal crash and have to do a long long pct, and you run the risk of never getting your body back to normal levels ever again, and also the possibility of infertility.

Exactly...

Just make darn sure that your low no matter what. I am now doing exactly what you plan to do...but I am DEFINATELY low.

This is a LIFE change man...be ready for it Wink

I would approve, with maybe one stipulation. Intermittent HCG use to keep testes up and running.....more on this later.

I don't get why you would want to do a low dose test program for a year or more....????? If your test levels are low now, that will only hurt them worse, it's not the answer.

If it's to gain a little bit of condition, shit you can do that in 12 weeks with no gear. If it's to put on just a couple of pounds in the next 12 months, again I'm at a loss.

Why not do an 8 week cycle and leave it at that?

I see absolutely no reason to go on low dose test for a year or more. You risk shutting your hpta down for a long long time, when you DO come off you'll still be small (since you say you don't want to put on much) so you'll lose whatever you have left... have a re-think. Either you're on or you're not. IronMike

PS - leaving out the bridging debates of course

Thanks for the replies fellahs. Glad to see some thought going into the responses.

1. Understood on the long PCT - a possibility may be to split the year up with several recovery periods.
2. When not on I constantly use Tribex (tribulus) etc and that works out more expensive than test
3. One other thing - what about year-round low-dose GH? (probably rather ridiculous)

Maybe 16-week cycles?

the only reason why i would even think about coming off is money, but even if i get test from the pharmacy here it would cost me some 20$ a month for 3 shots @ 250mg. you might also want to have kids one day, this would be the 2nd reason i could think of, but since i already spent 500$ for a vasectomy this does not apply to me. i started at age 30 btw but i would have done sooner if i had educated myself better in the past.

Personally, if you are truly low in t-levels then get your self to an endo. If it is determined that you are low, then they may put you on a low dosage HRT. I would not take it upon yourself 100% because if you do this for a year or two and then come off, you may harm your already low t-levels to a greater degree. Then you will be in a world of shit cause you will truly be feeling like crap...most likely, if you have low t-levels and go on HRT (whether you are 21 or 61) you are on it for life. I would say that the main concerns if this is a route you take is 1) MOST IMPORTANT (or at least it would be to me) -- the risk of becoming infertile...my recommendation for this would be to run HCG as often as possible. If you can run it constantly then great...if not, then make sure you run it every 10-12 weeks. Also, think of storing some of your sperm too...just in case when the time comes to have children, you are unable to rejuvenate your testes. 2) Keep an eye on your blood levels...most importantly your cholesterol, triglycerides, and BP. You will need to keep an eye on your diet much more than the average male in their early 20's. Again, I truly feel the most important factor of this equation is to go to an endo to get a true diagnosis. Good luck bud, and keep us posted.

I agree with JC. You need to get your T-levels checked by a doc. You could end up suppressing yourself pretty bad.
I think it would be better for you to do a regular cycle. That way you can direct your attention to the cycle for that time. If work is going to interfere with your lifting and goals, then don't even consider gear. It looks like the cons outweigh the pros in your situation.
