Keto and insulin
Ive been on keto now for four weeks.
Train on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
On the Monday, Tuesday and Thursday I take 15gm of dextrose + creatine + 20gm glutamine and WPI postworkout and on friday 70gm dextrose + WPI, creatine and glut.
My legs are lagging due to a motorcycle crash and I was wondering if I do legs on friday will the extra insulin spike shuttle extra nutients into the leg muscles and therefore help them to grow?????
The higher insulin spike will definitely give you a better transport ... but i dont think the result will be as dramatic as you may be thinking, but yes, i would think that the legs would have a better chance.
Over time, yes, your legs will grow faster than they would. But it won't be noticable.
