Need Help for a Bulking diet
#1
I need some diet advice or some recommendations for bulking. A little background, I'm 30 yo and have lifting on and off for years, I'm coming off the off years. I've been back lifting agian for about 3 months now, dieting with a low Carb, High Protein diet to loss some FAT. So, I'm 5'9 about 170 - 175 lbs and about 18% BF. Now the Question, How much Carb, Protein, and Fat should I be taking in a day without going way over?? My over all Goal is 180lbs and 10-15% BF by autumn.

My best results come with high protein, high fat (good fat only) and moderate carbs. I have high GI carbs pre and post workout and green veggies the rest of the day. No sugar or flour products.

Same for me. High protein and high fat. When bulking I tend to take in more carbs then I should. Mostly because I'm a pizza junkie. I dont reccomend this practice however.

By autumn its low,low carbs. No pizza then.

So how much protein would be high for me? How much carbs would moderate be? What are some high GI carbs and should I only eat high GI carbs for pre-post workouts?

For me when Bulking protein is number one.

I always go with the classic 1.5-2 grams per pound of bodyweight. I dont worry to much about carbs at this point just eat them as I feel I need them. For fats I usually include flax oil with my shakes. Except for the one post workout.

Lots of chicken, steaks, and protein shakes with milk.
