Gloves suck. I hate ém. Not a huge chalk fan. I use those rubber/foam grip things if my hands are sweaty. Most of the time I use nothing, I like the feel of steel in my hands.

I used to go for the whole lot. Straps, Chalk and training belt. I stopped using straps and the gloves when i realised that my forearms were lagging behind. I think its abt time I included the belt back into my kit as my back starts to get sore when i squat heavy.

You should ask your gym to provide a chalk bucket. Doesn't exactly cost them much - hardly anyone will use it.
I use straps sometimes for chest and shoulder pressing movements. I don't do deads because I'm a spastic I'll learn one day.

Chalk definitely.
Although, at the homo gym I train at now, they'd probably have a fit if I left white powder all over the gym! They'd get pissed if I left chalk as well...
